Well, let's see...life is not really going in the direction I originally planned, but I'm going to make the best of it somehow. Right now I'm trying to get a job since I moved across the country.

I've been making music still, just uploading it to my SoundCloud cuz I forget about Newgrounds (oops) so I'm going to remember to upload my favorites from this last year. I'd like to be able to say I've made some progress on my other art (writing, developing my RPG, etc), but I just keep going back to music since it seems to be the most fun passion of mine. I start too many projects and 95% of them don't get finished.

I made a modern remake of My Future, since that seems to be my most popular song by far. Gonna release it at the beginning of 2025 sometime.

Overall I'm just working on myself and trying to be a healthier person. Reading too much manga, probably. Idk, my life right now is boring. Getting older sucks.

Also, in speedrunning news, I recently got all the tapes in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater in under 7 minutes, which was a longtime goal of mine. I know I could probably beat it but it's just such a difficult speedrun

I guess if anyone cares, I can fill you in on what I've been up to.

Had a baby about 18 months ago. Being a dad is awesome but really hard. It's scary to be the source of care and knowledge of another human being, but it is also really cool to watch lil babies grow into toddlers and be able to teach them things. I've also learned a lot, so there's that too.

To be truthful I haven't worked on my RPG in some time. But I have accomplished more towards it than I ever have before! I have a mostly working overworld system and a tiny piece of the battle engine done, so I am about halfway towards my first prototype. I'm doing all the art, animation, and programming myself too, so it's taking a while. I will post it as soon as I have something playable!

Also, I have a stream now! I'm on twitch.tv/viewtifulday. I mostly make music and speedrun Tony Hawk's Pro Skater for the N64. Come tune in sometime, I try to stream mostly every day for at least a lil bit after work. I like to chat with the chat!

So here's what's new:

So things have definitely changed for me. I don't have as much time to work on music as I used to, but I still try to get on the compy when I can. Also, I'm still working on my game. I've restarted progress for the 4th time I believe, but this one is hopefully gonna be the one that I finish. It's a sprite game now lol. But it looks epic so far!

I'm gonna take some time today to post my newer stuff from my Soundcloud over onto here because it seems like I'm still getting lots of followers and listens on here!

Projects in the works:

I'm still working on my game, slowly but surely; I don't have anything to show you guys yet though :( Right now I'm just workin on the art. Once I have some art assets done I'll begin putting together some kind of engine.

I want to be making music consistently as well. With my final semester of school starting up in a week, this will be a challenge for me, but what's life without a little bit of stress? I should be getting at least one track made every month; hopefully I can stick to that goal without too much hassle.

And plus, honestly I'm just thinking about what I'm going to do when I graduate university. I have my whole life ahead of me and I can do whatever I want, so I need to make some huge life decisions. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it, I suppose.

Haven't updated you guys in a while so I guess I'll do that now.

To start, I'm making an album with a friend. He's providing some cool country/folk-style vocals and guitar, and I'm producing the electronic backing tracks for him. It's sounding really tite--we have six tracks almost complete and I'm stoked.

I'm working on loads of other music as well, and my Flash RPG is also coming along, albeit slowly. It might be difficult finding free time to work on my hobbies, since today I'm starting another semester at university, and in addition to that I'm also working full-time between two jobs (I moved out of my parents' house four months ago and I gotta pay the bills lol). Living on my own has taught me that there's nearly always something that needs to get done, cleaned, washed, or fixed. And so, If I ever actually complete any music worth sharing, I'll be sure to upload it to here and/or my Soundcloud.

Other than that, I'm working on my 16-star speedrun of Super Mario 64. My PB is like 25 minutes (which is bad) but I'm positive I can improve it with some practice.

Takin a break from music for the time being. Gonna work on my game, and play Zelda I'm sure

So I'm still alive. Right now I'm mostly helping other people make music rather than making it myself.

Got a Flash game still in the works. Also finished a track to be released on the label Attack The Music! More on that later.

At the moment I am currently working on a duet cover of "Everything Has Changed" by Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. It will have my own singing on it, and the vocal talent of Cyndere as well. Making the instrumental from scratch too, so it might take a little while! I'll be sure to upload here when it's done.

And because I still get messages about it, feel free to use anything I post on here in your commercial and non-commercial works. As long as you give me credit I don't have a problem with it.

Sorry I haven't posted much lately. I've been doing beats for a buddy for his spoken word album. Also, I'm working on a track that I want to try to get released on a label, so I probably won't post it here. But more music is coming--probably a sparse track every now and then.

ALSO! I've started working on my Flash RPG again. Bought a drawing tablet so the art will be infinitely less time consuming and better quality. I'm in the beginning stages of animation and will be sure to let you guys know when I have something playable. I'm doing everything myself: the story, dialogue, characters, music, and programming. I'm starting to understand how huge of an undertaking this is. Hundreds of hours will be required but I'm happy to do it myself if I get to see the game made exactly as I want.

I recently quit my part-time job two weeks ago. Now that I'm focused on primarily school, I have a lot more free time to make music and have a social life. This is good because you guys will be seeing a lot more out of me as far as music goes.
